About ONUS GEAR

OnusGear.com was inspired from the fact that we as consumers use 500 billion plastic bags each year for shopping.

Onus means RESPONSIBILITY.

We want to get people involved in a fun, creative, and interactive way to reduce our heavy use of plastic bags.

Our solution is to generate a large member community that chooses to use our gear to replace plastic bag use.

Our gear is made from rugged canvas so it will last.

In order to make this endeavor creative and fun, we will conduct monthly design contests.

Participants have to submit original designs.

Our member community will vote on submitted designs once per month.

The top 2 vote-getting designs will be used to print on our canvas gear. The 2 monthly winners will have their names tagged to their winning designs so that every piece of gear sold bears the initials of our member-designer and the member's hometown.

Our ONUS GEAR member community will be able to purchase our gear.

Our mission is to offer a reasonable, creative, and interactive solution to reduce the use of plastic bags.
